Security is primary at Seven Lakes. Entrance gates are manned by professional personnel, owners enter via barcode system. For additional security, both gates are equipped with security cameras.

The area is home to both the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox spring training, and home of the Miracle Minor League team. The Everblades hockey team also has a home in the vicinity.
